I have a few canvases that I've painted with cadmium red paint as a ground and I decided to use one of them this week. I really like seeing the red flecks peeking through the paint. This was painted with a palette knife.
I usually paint my underpainting black but now i'd like to try another color. your red paint definitely works beautifully!! I love the water...!!!!
