Sunny Low Country

Deja vu?  Yes, this is the same scene as last week's painting, but this is how it really looked the day that I was there.  It was a beautiful, sunny day with lots of puffy clouds and the temperature was perfect.  I'm not sure which painting I like better.  They each have a very different feeling and it's fun to have the freedom to interpret a scene any way I want.  : )  Ah, we artists have such power!

  1. Goodness! I can't tell which I like better either! You have captured the wind in the first and in the second, you've captured the serenity. Love them both!

  2. I love this sunny scene....and when you compare it with your last one...they are SO different...one of course shows that stormy weather with the angry clouds...this one more serene!! Gosh! we do have that power!!!

  4. Tough decision, I like them both. Something about the almost angry clouds in the first one vs. the sunny, light hearted clouds in the second. Yes, both speak differently of the same location. Love the artistic license we all have, it's great to create a scene & not just record one. Nice work Nancy!
