Well, the waves certainly weren't very exciting on this day but I thought they looked very serene. I was surprised to see a surfer walking out to sea across the rocks with his board (a little farther down from here....lots and lots of rocks). The waves didn't look like they would be very much fun to surf but I guess this guy was determined. The combination of rocks and flat surf made surfing seem like a bad idea to me.

Beautiful! Fantastic job with the waves and foam!
ReplyDeleteAnd this is why it is called "Pacific," - for the peace. Beautiful job and I love the green rolling up in the wee bit o' surf.
ReplyDeleteThank you Theresa.

ReplyDeleteThank you Jerry. It's good to hear from you. Have you been painting lately?
ReplyDeleteNancy, I am loving your water scenes. I have been trying to do some but haven't been able to capture waves as well as you do.
ReplyDeleteThank you Leslie. I think it's much easier with oils than watercolors. I'm going to try doing them in watercolor this week so I'll let you know.
ReplyDeleteI love the feel of this painting Nancy, is this not in Laguna. Nice work on the foam coming in on the shoreline.
