Delicate Bougainvillea

I know you're probably getting tired of seeing so many bougainvillea paintings but these flowers are fun to paint and since I was out of town last week, had no reference photos for anything else and there were plenty of bougainvillea growing there, that is what I painted.  I'm excited to get back to my studio and do something larger and hopefully a bit more creative.

  2. I think these are beautiful, Nancy. The colors are so soft and so perfect. I think it is the colors that remind me of an old Victorian era card. Truly a stunning work.

  4. Thank you Hilda. I do love bougainvillea so much. We have one growing about 30 feet up into a redwood tree and in the spring the entire tree looks bright pink.

    Thanks Sherry.
