The Coastal Route

It's taken almost the whole month for me to get around to painting something to submit to the Virtual Paintout blog.  This month's location is the French Riviera.  I was attracted to the interesting shapes of these cliffs leading into the ocean and the bushes in the foreground.  This is a watercolor and I tried to paint it in a loose manner.

    This is just stunning, Nancy. It reminds me a bit of when I traveled south on 101 in California and the view off to my right. You are really mastering watercolors too.

    I like what you did Nancy. I really like those cliffs you found. I could not find a coastal scene that I liked on VP, but you did really good! I am getting ready to plunge into watercolors, I love the look of them.

    Thanks Nancie. Every time I look at the virtual paintout blog, I see so many good scenes that I couldn't find. That's what makes the google street maps so much fun. There's so much variety. Good luck with the watercolors. They're a lot of fun.
