Misty Morning

I've painted this scene before on a smaller scale in watercolor on Aquabord.  This one has been hanging around unfinished for awhile and I decided it was time to finish it.  I'm not sure I am happy with it but I am happy that another project is finished.  I tried to give the feeling of fog but I can see I could have pushed it a little more.  All I can say in my defense is that it looked a lot better while it was wet.  : )

    I think you did a fabulous job with the fog, Nancy. I'm actually studying it to try to figure out the method you used because it sure worked beautifully. Such a beautiful and serene scene that has a bit of an Asian feel overall.

    You are doing wet in wet? Not sure either what media it's in. Did you do multiple layers? Fess up the details here please

      Hi Nelvia. It is watercolor and the paper was very, very wet. It was done it two layers - one a long time ago and the other the day I finished it.
