This painting has been in the works for a couple of months. Painting a portrait is very stressful for me, so I procrastinate more than usual when I'm working on one. I've always loved this photo of my son and knew that at some point I would try painting it.
Wow!! Nancy...this is a beautiful portrait .. Finished perfectly. I love the palm tree in back of him. I think you should do more portraits....
