I painted this awhile ago but wasn't happy with the background. It was too dark and too warm so I changed the background and touched up the figs for day 5's painting. It feels good to be done already and I'm about 3/4 done with tomorrow's painting. Maybe I'm getting the hang of this painting a day challenge.

You have your hands full, 30 paintings in 30 days is quite an undertaking. So far they are looking pretty good! Have fun with it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouragement Wendy.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the change you made as I have done that with one of my paintings and was much happier with the end result. Good luck with the challenge - I am in awe of anyone who can paint 30 paintings in 30 days. Seems darn near impossible to me!
ReplyDeleteIt may be impossible but I'm going to keep trying.
DeleteFigs sure are beautiful, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteYes they are Sherry. The insides are pretty too.
DeleteMorning Nancy, cup of tea in hand checking in - watching both the temperature and snow fall - what?? this is Georgia for pete's sake. Well, we are at Day 6, I didn't like yesterday's painting until this morning - so distance is good. Hey we keep those old paintings for a reason and if you can rework and be satisfied, that's a learning event. But I sure do feel like I am working hard, not used to so many hours or concentrated effort in the art space. Can't wait to see what you got for us today - the wild onion? Have a good one.
ReplyDeleteSnow? Is that normal in Georgia?
DeleteI already have today's painting done and am starting on one for tomorrow so I'm feeling pretty good. No wild onion today, maybe tomorrow.
