Alaska, 30 in 30 - Day 29

This is another scene painted on a piece of plexiglass.  It had to be painted with the foreground done first and working into what would be the background.  I like the first one I did better (the end of December) but it was a little interesting working on this one.

  1. Beautiful vibrant colors in this painting, Nancy... My daughter went to Alaska years ago and still talks about it!

    1. Alaska is the most beautiful place I've ever visited. I almost overdosed on beauty. Of course, that was in June. I might feel differently in the winter with all that snow and cold.

  2. You've captured that golden sunlight beautifully, Nancy. I like these paintings on Plexiglas you've done!

  3. I like the bright of this as well. Does the plexi hold multiple layers or is it pretty much one shot?

  4. I'm using acrylic on the plexi so as it dries, I add as many layers as I want. It's pretty fun. I'm looking forward to doing another but spending more time with it to make it a more complex painting.
